3、 Selection of grey board paper.

Grey paperboard, referred to as grey paperboard card, is made of recycled waste paper. According to customers' requirements for surface flatness, it is mainly divided into single gray, double gray, full gray and high gloss. It is an environment-friendly packaging material, with a ration from 250g to 10000g and a thickness from 0.4mm to 20mm. There is even no upper limit on the thickness and ration. Usually, the appropriate gray board card is selected according to the size of the gift box.

4. Die cutting

Die cutting is a very important link in the process, especially the gift box. Die cutting technology has higher requirements, and the product quality is determined by precision and accuracy. Some errors directly affect the quality of subsequent processing.

5. Slotting

Use the slotting machine to open V-grooves on the 1 ~ 4mm thick gray plate, and generally reserve the connecting layer of about 0.25mm. The V-grooves have angles, generally 90 degrees and 120 degrees, or open V-grooves with different angles according to the product structure.

Slotting is a key step in making gift boxes. Before forming the gray board, the V-shape of the gray board must be removed to make the gray board straight inside after bending, with clear edges and corners and accurate matching of four corners.

6. Pasting

The installation of gift box is an essential process. According to the requirements of different products, copper paper, art paper, flannelette and leather are closely pasted on the gray board through glue or spraying through the glue machine, so as to combine them into one, so as to change the gray appearance of the gray board surface, which not only beautifies the appearance of the box, but also improves the added value of the packaging box.

In general, the production of high-grade gift boxes is to install first and then die-cutting, and die-cutting first and then installation. The purpose of this is: first, it is afraid that the outsourcing materials will be stained and affect the appearance; Second, the gift box pays attention to the harmony of the overall effect. The later installation can completely cover the support, so that the gray of the gray board can be wrapped in the outsourcing materials with novel design, presenting us a beautiful artwork; Third, some box types with complex structure are still inseparable from hand installation. This is not irreplaceable by the machine, but every detail of the box can be manually installed in place to make the installation paper and gray board stick more closely.
