Although the delivery box has good performance, once it encounters water, it will lose its original performance. How to do moisture-proof treatment for packaging cartons?
1. Add water repellent:
Under normal circumstances, the manufacturer's moisture-proof treatment of the carton is to coat a layer of waterproofing agent on the outside of the carton. This method is simple and low cost. It can bring a good moisture-proof effect to the carton. According to the needs, it can be divided into two ways: temporary waterproof and long-term waterproof. The specific selection should be selected according to the needs.
2. Use the lamination process:
Lamination is a common waterproof treatment process for printed products such as carton surfaces, cartons, handbags, and covers. After the printed product is covered, it can achieve waterproof, anti-pollution, color-resistant, heat-resistant, light-resistant, and conflict-resistant properties. It can also enhance the gloss, dismantling resistance and pressure resistance of the carton, and improve the service life and packaging quality of the packaging carton.
3. Add high polymer:
At present, in the production process of corrugated boxes, an appropriate amount of macromolecular polymer (also known as cross-linking agent or bridging agent) is added to the starch adhesive, and the macromolecular polymer will replace the hydroxyl group in the starch molecule, making the corrugated paste The wire has a good waterproof and moisture-proof effect. Prevents cartons from collapsing when they go into cold stock or wet conditions.
4. To avoid moisture in raw materials:
If the carton raw material has been damp in the production process, it will have a great impact on the packaging carton produced by subsequent processing. We will isolate the base paper warehouse from the outdoors as much as possible, and install a dehumidifier in the warehouse to ensure that the relative temperature is below 65% to ensure the quality of the base paper.
